Looking back on an enriching visit: Belgotech welcomes Hénallux Seraing
On Friday, March 27, we opened our doors to a group of second-year electromechanical Bachelor students for a hands-on immersion into the world of industrial electricity.
Sharing our expertise and opening the doors of our workshops is always an enriching experience. It was a real pleasure for the Belgotech teams to welcome a group of students from Hénallux Seraing, accompanied by their professor, Mr. Christophe Brankart. This afternoon allowed future technicians to go behind the scenes of a company specializing in the design and manufacture of electrical panels.
Following a general introduction to the company, the students explored the various technical professions that drive our daily operations. We particularly highlighted the roles directly related to their studies: the strategic role of the project manager, the precision of the draftsman, and the rigor of the quality tester.
To make the exchange more interactive, practical demonstrations were organized. The students discovered the digital production workflow, from schematic design on EPLAN, the industry-standard software for electrical engineering design, to its physical realization thanks to the precision of our Perforex cutting machine. The visit concluded with a complete quality control demonstration, illustrated by a motor startup.
